Think right!

Everyone wants to be successful. Everyone wants to live a life of eternal bliss and happiness. And at Scripted, we believe that everyone SHOULD be successful and live a life of eternal bliss and happiness! But often what sets apart the successful, blissful crowd from the unsuccessful, unhappy crowd is what and how we think.

One of our favourite quotes at Scripted is: “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he” (Prov 23:7 NKJV). Briefly, what you THINK is what YOU ARE. The thinking of a person determines them and the outcome of their lives. If you think you will be successful, you will be successful. If you think you will be happy, you will be happy. If you think you will be like everyone else, you will be like everyone else. If you think that life is miserable, you will have a miserable life! Whatever thoughts dominate our minds whether consciously or subconsciously; these will inevitably produce that kind of life.

As the poet William Ernest Henley so poignantly expressed: “I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul”. Ultimately, it is up to us to determine our fate, our life’s course and the direction that we will take. The way our lives turn out comes down to our thoughts and the choices we make from those thoughts. We can't rely on others to determine our lives and we can't allow others to take the captaincy of our souls! It's time that we take the helm of our lives with both hands and begin to steer our lives through right thinking to where we are supposed to be living!
